GellyBall for your Fixed Location

Advantages to GellyBall Facilities

Depending on where you are located in the country, weather can be a business obstacle that is hard to overcome. If you are running a mobile laser tag business and a large storm is coming in for the weekend, you could lose all the revenue you had counted on.

Besides pop-up storms and unexpected weather, temperature extremes can hurt business too. In southern Ontario the summers can hit  +40 degrees and in Winnipeg winters can be downright lethal, and neither of these temperature extremes are good for an outdoor business!

A study was just conducted  in 2018 that showed upwards of 28% of the available weekend days for outdoor activities experienced weather disruptions that cost business revenue losses.

An indoor venue will assure that the party can go on, which means the money can flow in, no matter what the weather throws at you.

Many just don't have a space near them

If there are woods, an empty park nearby or houses with large yards, then Mobile Businesses can cater to those customers. But many just do not have the room, or the desire, to have a bunch of kids running around in their yard. Those customers will seek out a facility environment for their parties.

A facility can also add to the experience with special lighting, props and fog machines, giving the customer a more immersive experience.

The ability to create a special atmosphere indoors that can be experienced 24/7, 365 days a year, can bring revenue more consistently than mobile businesses.

Facilities typically can host much larger games, resulting in higher revenue.

Facilities can pursue alternative revenue streams

Depending on the size of the facility, it is possible to add extra offerings within your facility that provide additional revenue streams.  These can be passive streams like arcade games, which you can rent and receive a percentage of the profits, or you can purchase your own arcade machines.

Some locations might have extra space to enable you to add other attractions, like Axe Throwing, or a room for Nerf Games, etc.

Also, whether it is with your own kitchen or an agreement with a local pizza place, you may be able to offer food and make a percentage of the profits there as well.

Obviously, there are higher costs

Depending on your location and the size of the space, rent can run from $5,000 to $20,000 a month, or more. Luckily, the finish-out of a facility can be relatively inexpensive. You can create or obtain props like barrels, wire spools, stacks of tires or virtually any other items you can find, and decorate your facility on a budget.
