Gellyball Dealer FAQs

If you’re exploring the idea of becoming a Gellyball Dealer, you probably have a few questions and you’re not alone!

Below are some of the most common questions we get from people who are considering joining the Gellyball Dealer network.

How much does it cost to start?

Startup costs can vary depending on what you’re planning to do with your Gellyball business. For example, are you planning to run a Fixed Business or a Mobile Business, how many players you want to run at once, or whether you’re planning to attend local fairs and festivals where you may need a larger setup.

Because every situation is a little different, it’s difficult to give a simple one-size-fits-all price right away. Instead, we like to schedule a short discovery call with potential dealers to learn more about their goals and setup. This helps us recommend the right equipment package for their needs and also make sure it’s a good fit on both sides before moving into more details.

We also offer a Demo Kit option for those who would like to try the equipment before committing to a full setup.

Do I get a protected territory?

Yes. We offer territory protection for both our Indoor Fixed Location Dealers and our Mobile Gellyball Dealers.

Our goal is to prevent oversaturation and ensure dealers have room to grow their business within their area.

If someone expresses interest in becoming a dealer just outside an existing dealer’s territory, we also give the current dealer first right of refusal before opening that opportunity to someone new.

Does it hurt?

Many people assume Gellyball feels like paintball, but it’s much lighter. On exposed skin it feels similar to a quick elastic band snap, and even less if you’re wearing long sleeves. We suggest giving players enough space on the playing field so they aren’t right up against each other, since shots at very close range can feel a bit stronger than when players are about 10 feet apart.

How Much Space Do I Need?

For indoor setups, we recommend an area of about 40′ × 60′, although we have seen businesses successfully operate in spaces as small as 40′ × 40′. For outdoor play, our inflatable bunkers are modular, allowing you to set them up in a variety of locations such as backyards, open fields, or event spaces.

Are Gellyballs Easy to Clean UP?

When Gellyballs hit impact, most of them burst into very small pieces. Some may stay intact, but they will dissolve and dry out over time. They are non-toxic and biodegradable, so they do not cause damage to the environment.

For indoor use, cleanup is simple. Most dealers use a shop vac or a large industrial squeegee to gather the debris. Gellyballs also do not damage walls or cause staining, which makes them suitable for indoor spaces.
